A dedicated accommodation booking service is now available for exhibitors and visitors planning to make the trip to FESPA 2007, the world’s largest exhibition for the screen and large format digital printing industries, taking place in Berlin, Germany, 5th – 9th June 2007.

Avantel Hotel Reservation has been appointed as the official handler for all accommodation needs for FESPA 2007. As a specialist agency, Avantel can provide access to discounted room rates in more than forty hotels in and around Berlin, catering for a variety of budgets. Hotel accommodation can be reserved through Avantel by visiting the dedicated link at the official FESPA 2007 web site, www.fespa2007.com and clicking on the ‘Accommodation and Travel’ tab to access a list of selected hotels and make a booking.

fespa 2007_logo_hr 200“Feedback from previous FESPA visitors indicates that it is far easier and often more cost-effective if the task of arranging accommodation is managed on your behalf by a professional company”, explains Frazer Chesterman, FESPA Exhibitions Director. “Avantel Hotel Reservation has the thorough knowledge and expertise needed to quickly and proficiently meet the requirements of both visitors and exhibitors in the run up to FESPA 2007.”

He adds, “In conjunction with Avantel, we are pleased to be able to meet the demands of different budgets by offering a broad variety of options at favourable prices. As a result, we hope to make this must-attend event as accessible as possible to visitors from Europe and beyond.”

Avantel are also able to help with the arrangement of other activities during a stay in Berlin, such as booking sightseeing tours and sourcing venues for corporate entertainment.

Thanks to its location at the centre of Europe, travelling to Berlin from European destinations is easy. Berlin is the largest low-cost airline location in Europe, and its airports serve 155 destinations, 118 of which are European. Additionally, Berlin’s international railway stations are well served by public transport, and the newly opened central station, Berlin Hauptbahnhof, makes this mode of travel even more convenient. Daily trains operate between Berlin and destinations such as Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich, and Vienna, and trains to cities such as Warsaw and Moscow also operate regularly.

Given the international recognition of FESPA and the high level of early interest in FESPA 2007, Chesterman advises visitors and exhibitors not to delay in making accommodation and travel plans. “Based on previous exhibitions, we would encourage those planning to visit Berlin to confirm their plans as soon as possible. By doing so, visitors can take advantage of the best travel rates and stay in their hotel of choice.
