UK inkjet research and development company ,Inkski, has appointed Bryan Palphreyman as Director of Business Development to drive their innovative inkjet technology to market. Palphreyman, former Business Development Manager at printhead manufacturer Xaar where he developed early applications for their 1001/HSS platform, began his involvement in inkjet back in the early 90’s at Willett (now Videojet), and will take immediate responsibility for developing licensing and strategic partnerships for the company.

Dr. Daniel Hall, founder and Inkski CEO commented, "Bryan brings with him a wealth of international commercial experience in developing markets for digital printing, and is joining us at a time when we need to take the technology out of the lab and into the real world." Inkski, founded in 2004, is developing a next generation non-impact digital printing technology that promises speed and print resolution well in excess of current inkjet capabilities.

bp_image.jpg"I’m looking forward to working with Daniel and the board," said Palphreyman, "This is an exciting time for digital, it is becoming clear however, that current inkjet is simply not fast enough in comparison to conventional printing." He added, "The industry is looking for a technology that can deliver the speeds it wants. Inkski has a new model, a paradigm shift, which can deliver the speeds necessary to penetrate these markets." Palphreyman suggested, "The challenge is to find the right partners with the foresight and vision to take digital to the next stage of its evolution. With the support of the team at Inkski, I am confident that we can deliver a simple, robust, low cost printing technology that will help our partners make this transition, and change the future of digital."
