Queensland based Sign Essentials have recently agreed to Supply and Support their local market with Agfa’s entire range of LED Printers.
Sean Strange, Managing Director of Sign Essentials says – “My Team and I are very excited about re-establishing our relationship with Agfa. The range of products Agfa now has is fantastic and we’re looking forward to introducing all the flatbed and hybrid UV devices to the market.”
Agfa says that, with the flexibility to offer hybrid platforms with a printing width of 1650mm, 2050mm, 2500mm, and 3200mm and true flatbed solutions ranging from 2500mm x 1300mm up to 3200mm x 2700mm, the devices fit many market sectors like POS, Signage, Exhibition, and Commercial. It recently added two dedicated roll to roll machines that can produce speeds up to 180sqm/hr and an entry level platform called the A-Jet.
The Company adds that it supplies the devices with the latest LED curing technology, which offers quick start up times, less power consumption, improved productivity, and in excess of 10,000 print hours prior to thinking about a lamp change. It says that, using Agfa’s new 1500 and 1550 ink solution, adhesion to problematic substrates becomes a thing of the past and that thin ink layer technology helps reduce running costs dramatically.
Strange continues - “Agfa’s new A-Jet flatbed UV printer will appeal to the Sign and Display Industries in particular. It really hits the sweet spot for price and performance. Bundled together with our new iECHO flatbed cutters we can offer an outstanding flatbed print/cut solution”.
“Sign Essentials has a great range of products for the Queensland Sign Industry, however we had a gap in the wide-format UV print market. Our partnership with Agfa rounds out our product offerings and allows us to offer some great solutions in that space.”
Michael Culver, Agfa’s Inkjet Manager for Oceania, says, “Sign Essentials is a Business that will sell and support our Brand correctly and their clear business ideas made this Agreement easy to conclude. Having local support in this region is paramount to success and Sign Essentials technical ability is a stand out. Agfa Graphics already have a significant installation base within the Oceania Region and these numbers will grow with this new partnership.”
