drupa 2021 cancelled: ”Just too great a risk”
Messe Düsseldorf, the organisers of the world’s biggest printing industry trade show, announced that drupa 2021 has been cancelled in its planned form due to the pandemic and will be replaced with a four-day virtual show from 20 to 23 April. The return to the physical format is scheduled for 2024.

The latest IDC Worldwide Quarterly Industrial Printer Tracker shows that all segments of the industrial printer market began to recover from the COVID-19 crisis in Q3 2020. Large format printer shipments increased by 53% compared to the previous quarter.
Nine-fold increase in small business commercial lease disputes
“My office saw commercial lease disputes increase nine-fold during the peak of the pandemic, with more than 570 cases in the June quarter alone,” said Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Kate Carnell, who’s called for an overhaul of the dispute resolution framework, saying it doesn’t work for small businesses.
