Since its inception over 50 years ago, the Lithographic Institute of Australia has proven itself as the leading technical body in the Graphic Arts Industry, involved in all aspects and formats of print production.

Meanwhile, Currie Group, Konica Minolta and Océ will present latest digital embellishment technologies at this month’s LIA NSW technical dinner titled Digital Embellishment & Value-Added Print that also takes place on International Print Day, 23 October.

“Despite decreasing print run lengths, print businesses can increase their profits with digital embellishments, which add value to their print,” says LIA NSW. “There are many digital embellishments available: traditional high gloss UV varnish, spot matt and gloss varnishes; sensory raised and textured spot varnishes; metal foiling and die-less foil applications; printing on to laminates, then embellishing.
