Swift Signs called in an administrator last week and the first meeting of creditors was scheduled for Tuesday this week. The move came several months after the company faced a separate winding up order application by another of its creditors, Ramair Packaging.

A notice posted by ASIC on Monday said an application for the winding up of Swift Signs Pty Ltd that was commenced by the plaintiff Deputy Commissioner of Taxation on 01/10/2019 will be heard in the Federal Court in Adelaide on 13 November.

Swift Signs, based in Adelaide’s inner eastern suburb of Stepney - and not to be confused with Swift Signs of Melbourne - was established in 2009 by director Luke Knight. It offers a full range of signage work, including large format digital printing, vehicle graphics, shop fronts, banners, light boxes, and real estate signs.

The company remained open for business as usual.

Administrator Trent McMillen of Sydney-based MaC Insolvency, appointed on Sunday 20 October, called the first meeting of creditors for Tuesday 29 October at Level 21, 25 Grenfell Street, Adelaide SA 5000.

“Creditors may attend the meeting by telephone conference facilities by phoning 1300 289 804. At least 24 hours before the meeting, creditors should phone the Administrator's office on 02 8002 9580 to obtain the teleconference dial-in password and email their intention to attend by teleconference.”
