Peter Way has joined Total Image Supplies in a Professional Sales role. He brings with him a long history of customer support and engagement and a sound knowledge of colour management, profiling, trouble shooting and maintenance of inkjet wide-format printers, RIPs and workflows.

Most recently in technical sales, management and support roles with Starleaton, Way came across to them via its

merger/acquisition of DES and before that with CyraChrome, which in turn was acquired by DES.

Prior to this, he was with DuPont’s graphics division for many years, working with high-end colour proofing such as digital and analogue Cromalin. He was one of the early adopters of Epson wide format printers used as contract proofing devices, driven by the CGS Oris RIP and calibrated using what were then very advanced spectrophotometers from Gretag-Macbeth – now X-Rite.

Tyson Buechler, Managing Director of Total Image Supplies, says: “We are delighted to have someone with Peter’s knowledge and experience join our team. He is well known to Victorian customers in particular, and in the industry in general. Thanks to his technical background, Peter can offer practical help, advice and problem-solving to our wide format customers, based on sound experience.”

Peter Way comments: “It’s great to be joining a smaller but very dynamic team here at Total Image Supplies. It feels like family already and there is only one way the company is going and that is up and up. Tyson and the team’s commitment to taking care of customers at every level reflects my own philosophy. I am really looking forward to getting out face-to-face with customers again now that this is possible with the progress being made in combating Covid-19.”
