German-based technical textiles manufacturer Heytex, distributed in Australia through Starleaton, says the ecotex B1 is a unique alternative for outdoor applications.

“It endures high wind loads due to its very high tear resistance and form stability,” says the company. “Thus, with its weight reduction by 50% compared to other similar frontlits, the material ensures easy processing, reduces waste disposal after use, CO2 in transport and transportation costs.

“It’s environmentally friendly, sustainable and health conscious. The material is free of plasticizers and phthalates, as well as isocyanate-containing brominated compounds.

“Ecotex frontlit B1 is a new unique alternative for outdoor applications, where PVC is not permitted with an outdoor lasting of up to six months (northern European climate). Since it is also DIN 4102 B1 rated, it fulfills building authority requirements, which avoids double storage of materials (NR and non FR).”

“As premium supplier for large format digital printing, we find the ecological balance of our products as very important,” says Alexander Beilken of German wide format printer Procedes. “Therefore, the innovative ecotex B1 is a perfect addition to our product portfolio to also provide high-quality and sustainable solutions to our customers in the future.“

Floris van Boxtel of German digital printer Thamm adds: “Thamm prides itself on its pioneer activities in regard to climate neutrality in the digital print sector. Therefore, ecotex B1 is the optimal alternative to PVC banners and a great addition to our portfolio.“
