It's a busy start to the week for ASGA with three announcements of important industry events. Entries for the 2024 Awards are now open, there is a free workshop on March 16th and a Melbourne social bowls gathering on February 16th.

Sign, display and graphics businesses across the country are being urged to enter their very best work in the 2024 National Sign & Graphics Awards, with entries now open via the competition’s online portal.

The National Sign & Graphics Awards, founded by the Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) in 2005, is held every second year to recognise and reward sign companies for the achievement of excellence across modern, digital and traditional signage, and to showcase the wonderful array of talent within the Australian industry.

This year, leading supplier Currie Group has taken out naming rights with the Diamond Sponsorship of the event. They are joined by Gold Sponsors Avery Dennison, Graphic Art Mart, Orafol, Spandex and Visual Connections, Silver Sponsor SMIB and Bronze Sponsors Ball & Doggett and Pozitive.

 

Entries for the 2024 Awards opened on Thursday 1st February 2024 and close at 5pm on Friday 7th June 2024. To be eligible, projects submitted must be completed between Tuesday 8th March 2022 and Friday 31st May 2024.

Free March workshop 'Staying Ahead of the Pack'

Another ASGA initiative is a free workshow to be held online on Wednesday March 13th and moderated by Stefan Kazakis of Business Benchmark Group. It's easy going Green with ASGA's Vic Bowls social!

In a trifecta of good news and equally important is the Feb 16th Bowls social. ASGA is holding its first industry networking event for Victorian businesses, with a fun social game of Bowls planned for 5pm on Friday, 16th February at the iconic Melbourne Bowling Club.

“As well as plenty of friendly competition on the immaculate greens of Australia’s oldest bowling club, the night will feature a selection of food and drinks to finish off the week in style.

“This is a great way to kick off the year, and the perfect chance to get your whole team together for a fun night of networking with industry friends and colleagues, so make sure you come along.”
