There are two recent changes within Mutoh Australia. Russell Cavenagh has been promoted from General Manager to Managing Director, while wide format printer and application specialist Stephen Crichton, has joined Mutoh Australia in the role of Product Marketing Manager.

Russell's promotion is a feather in his well-traveled cap. Under his General Managership, the brand has become much more recognised in its own right and the dealer network has been strengthened.
Stephen brings 20 years of industry experience with him from wide format through to the design, colour management and laser engraving industries.
Russell Cavenagh comments: “I’m very happy Stephen has joined our team. Mutoh is at an exciting stage of our growth in Australia and NZ, with several new product releases this year, so finding the right people to enhance our dealer and customer experience is key to our continued business growth.”
Stephen Crichton adds: “I’d heard for years of Mutoh’s Japan-made manufacturing quality and also of their printers’ ease of use. I‘d seen firsthand the print quality that can be expected from a Mutoh device so naturally I was very keen to align myself with this company. I’m looking forward to working with Mutoh’s network of dealers and clients and to be part of the Mutoh Australia team.”
Crichton has vast experience in several graphic disciplines: “I have been in the print industry for over 20 years, starting my career as a graphic designer in a print shop where I worked on websites, created artwork for screen printing and also digital dye sublimation. This led to an opportunity with Digital Graphic Solutions, then Australian distributor various wide format printing and cutting equipment.
During my time with DGS, I completed my studies in marketing and after more than 10 great years with the company, I moved on. I spent a little time with a laser manufacturer before jumping on an opportunity with Mutoh Australia as their Product Marketing Manager.
Stephen has a neat philosophy in life and work: “I believe in life you stop only once. Until then you simply pause for small moments, so keep going, keep growing, have a purpose and be of benefit to those around you.”
