A collaboration between digital cutting business Zund UK and inkjet printer manufacturer Inca Digital will provide 'a complete workflow solution from prepress automation, cloud-based set-up, print job completion and direct to cut finishing.'
“Zund UK and Inca Digital have announced a new innovation-based partnership that sees both companies working together to offer customers in the signage, graphics and packaging industries fully automated print, cut and robotic offload workflow solutions,” says a statement from Zund.
“This innovative partnership is very important to the industry and we are pleased that our collaboration will allow our customers to experience a unique, high-end print and cut workflow,” according to Dean Ashworth, sales & marketing manager, Zund UK.
As part of the SCREEN Graphic Solutions group, Inca Digital Printers is an industry leader in the design, development and manufacture of inkjet printers and automation solutions for the print industry.

Zund is a globally respected manufacturer of digital cutting equipment. Its modular cutting systems are solutions for processing a wide variety of materials.
“The synergy of both companies’ state of the art technology will enable customers and end users to further enhance efficiencies and productivity through a seamless, integrated workflow whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality,” the statement says.
“Combining their leading-edge technology, Zund and Inca can deliver customised solutions that can be enhanced or modified to meet the ever-changing needs of their respective clients.
“The collaboration will enable customers to fully benefit from a complete workflow solution from prepress automation, cloud-based set-up, print job completion and direct to cut finishing.”
Since 2005, Inca has been part of the SCREEN Group. Based in Cambridge, UK, Inca develops, designs and manufactures industrial inkjet printers. "Focus to date has been on the wide format printing sector, but more recently the technology has become of interest in a variety of other applications."
