A new substrate that images in 3D and can be viewed without special eye wear.

Anitech has announced the Australian launch of its new, patented 3D design and print media, PURE3D.

“It’s absolutely brilliant” says Anitech’s Neil Gomez, Business Development Manager, Consumables “PURE3D is a media that can be printed on both sides via UV litho, conventional litho, screen print and UV digital.”

PURE3D_substrate_smallPURE3D allows four colour print and imaging with anywhere from 3 to 5 perceptual dimensions on an ultra-thin, fully recyclable polypropylene substrate. Unlike other 3D materials, PURE3D’s patented process allows spectacular new creative concepts to be developed without the need for specialist software or the viewer to wear special eye wear.

“It’s ideal for packaging, print, marketing and promotional companies.” Neil says “PURE3D sets new horizons for designers and brand managers so that fresh, memorable, powerful eye-popping messages can be realised straight from the printer without any complex setup or aftermarket 3D glasses necessary.”

Applications include, POP, POS, backlit displays, posters, retail counter mats, ATM’s, packaging such as boxes - panels - DVD covers, printed covers and inserts, direct mail pieces, business and promotional cards.
PURE3D’s ability to accept opaque whites and metallics allow additional image depth to be created and its double sided printability means coatings and varnishes can be added for additional effects.
“PURE3D’s unique, patented, multidimensional nature permits enhanced levels of security protection and fraud prevention to be encoded directly into designs.“ Concludes Neil, noting that printers with specific security demands are welcome to discuss requirements privately.
