Boost productivity, increase mobility and simplify collaboration with HP’s expanded portfolio of future-ready products

HP’s expanded portfolio of future-ready devices and solutions helps to propel business acceleration for design professionals in the AEC industries that require geographical information such as maps printouts, urban development print illustrations or other forms of large format technical drawings. The new line of Designjet printers are web-connected and ePrint-enabled, allowing businesses to access web content from anywhere, anytime wherever business happens. This expanded portfolio builds on last year’s introduction of the world’s most collaborative printer, the HP Designjet T2300 eMultifunction Printer (eMFP).

AEC businesses operating in the Asia Pacific market can now upload large files to the cloud from offices throughout the globe, which can then be ePrinted at local offices though Designjet touch screens, providing for easier access to information and smoother collaboration processes which is crucial for multinational AEC projects.

In addition, professionals in AEC industries can now benefit from the following:

•    Easy access to content online through HP ePrint & Share
•    Ability to print, scan and copy with one printer
•    Power to scan and share document changes instantly
•    Capacity to create a print-ready PDF document as well as the ability to print with HP ePrint & Share
•    Ability to print TIFF, JPEG, and PDF files directly from USB thumb drives

“The ePrint & Share solution is very simple. We can use it not only to print the final process but also to share,” says, Joan Callis, Project director with Spanish architectural firm EMBT. “It’s important that we can communicate quickly and directly with others and having the client in Shanghai, for example, being involved in the discussions, really helps to improve a project.”

The next generation of HP Designjet printing solutions

The first large-format ePrinter designed for work groups, the HP Designjet T1300 ePrinter helps teams to meet tight deadlines and printing peaks by offering two media rolls and smart switching as well as the ability to print up to two A1/D-sized prints per minute. Features such as an Embedded Web Server, which offers user access control, and Secure Disk Erase meet advanced security needs.

Offering the simplicity of a plug-and-play device with the collaboration features of HP ePrinters, the HP Designjet T790 ePrinter series enables small teams to produce high-quality computer-aided design drawings while collaborating with colleagues in a connected work environment. Available in 24- or 44-inch models, the device features an easily accessible top-loading roll and 8 gigabytes of memory, allowing users to print complex files with ease.
Simplifying the printing and sharing of large-format files

HP ePrint & Share is a printing and sharing tool that allows designers to easily locate and access their large-format plans on the cloud, and to adjust page layouts, preview print pages and create print-ready files from a single screen. Users also can upload files with a single click while printing is in process to quickly and easily share designs with remote project teams.(1)
