Ian Martin, who is chairman of the board and also President of GAMAA, said the GAMAA members were keen to begin work on the 2013 show.

“There is a lot of pre-planning to do in order to ensure PacPrint13 meets the changing needs of the market and is representative of the directions the industry is heading in. The GAMAA members who are appointed to the PacPrint13 board are looking forward to working with their Printing Industries counterparts to ensure that PacPrint13 remains a major event on the industry calendar, not just in Australia, but throughout the Asia Pacific region.”

The GAMAA board members are responsible, along with Printing Industries’ representatives, in overseeing all aspects of the show and will work closely with Reed Exhibitions who will manage the sales and operational aspects of the show on behalf of the two co-presenters.

In conclusion Martin said, “PrintEx11 was a very successful show because it involved a number of elements including industry seminars that enabled visitors to get the most out of their attendance. We will be looking at innovations at shows like drupa12 to see if there are concepts we can apply to PacPrint13 to ensure even greater relevance”.
