The Anitech stand at the Visual Impact Image Expo 2011 saw the launch of Vizuon with specialist wrapping experts using LG Hausys products to wrap a car on the stand. Neil Gomez, Anitech’s consumables business development manager, said “We see vehicle graphics as being an integral part of every business’s promotional cycle.” So much so that Anitech brought in the services of a specialist vehicle wrap team.

Anitech_LG_car_wrap_2Dean Stone, owner of Stoneage signs, was the guest wrapper for the event and he completed a series of test applications on the Anitech Mini, declaring that the LG Hausys Vizuon Cast LD923T base film was absolutely ideal for the vehicle wrap trade. Dean’s half decade of vehicle wrapping expertise did make the film application demonstrations look easy, but that’s what you get when you’ve been in the signage industry for 26 years.

“You’ve got to trust your products” Dean said “and Vizuon is working exactly how it’s expected to work.” Dean said the LG Hausys product is thicker than other substrates and the initial low tack makes repositioning easy. Being thicker means the film is better at taking heat and pressure when the media is finally sealed to the vehicle surface.

Anitech’s exclusive LG Hausys agency includes both Vizuon Cast LD923T base film which is air free for digital printing and the Vizuon Cast LP90994 protective laminate, providing durability for up to 8 years from the date of application. Dean added, "fewer bubbles is one of Vizuon’s best attributes and we are currently conducting performance tests and evaluating both of the Vizuon products.”

Neil Gomez notes that one of the product’s key features is the dimensional stability with a shrinkage rate of less than 5%, in addition Vizuon has outstanding print performance using solvent inkjet printers such as Seiko, Mimaki, Roland, HP, Mutoh, Vutek and the Arizona series.

“It is this stability that the LP90994 protective laminate offers, providing protection from UV damage and reducing abrasion and scratch damage.” Neil observes that one of the easiest selling points is when a vehicle has reached the end of its service life, you simply remove the film coating and you have a brand new paint job underneath, making resale a breeze.

“The added value of pristine paint work when the wrap is removed is worth the cost of wrapping the vehicle in the first place.
