The Jetrix 1212 is a 1.22m wide, rigid system that runs at 26.4sqm/h in production mode at a 1440 x 720dpi resolution. One of the features of the new machine is its ability to be quickly reconfigured using an optional table extension so that it can accept media up to 2.44m in length and 70mm in thickness. Jetrix 1212 New new model-2Typical throughput for boards measuring 1220 x 1220mm is 17 per hour in production mode using a 4 pass cycle to 5.9 boards per hour in fine art mode using a 12 pass cycle.

With a print configuration built around the Konica 1024 C,M,Y,K 6picoliter single head, the Jetrix 1212 flatbed can easily handle all types of media typically found in the signage industry.  An optional double white is available as a complement to the four colour head.

Barry Grant, marketing director at Anitech said “This is a world first, getting the Jetrix 1212 is a feather in our cap and shows how seriously Australia is seen in the global marketplace.”

The Jetrix 1212 manufacturers, Korean headquartered InkTec, will be sending three senior staff for the launch with each representing specific areas of InkTec’s key competencies - hardware, software and regional sales.

“This new machine is the direct result of the experience that InkTec has gained through years of wide format production” said Barry “even down to the routine maintenance cycles with daily tasks such as head rail wiping, cleaning and purging taking less than five minutes each.”

In common with previous Jetrix models, auto ink cleaning and refill systems and auto head collision detectors that to prevent head damage come standard. Additionally the Jetrix 1212 works with Shiraz or Caldera, Onyx and Wasatch RIP software.

“Anitech has been the Australian InkTec agency since 2009” concludes Barry “and to be the custodian of a world launch for the InkTec Jetrix 1212 speaks volumes for our relationship”
