HP Australia has entered into a collaboration with Anitech to offer the full range of HP Designjet Large Format printing solutions to its enterprise customer base nationally.

Starting immediately, Anitech will sell, install and service HP’s aqueous range of large format printers designed for the reprographics, photo, architectural, engineering and construction market segments.
“We currently have an extended range of wide format equipment that we distribute nationally. With this new agreement, Anitech will work as an exclusive HP Designjet Business Partner and focus more directly on HP products across the entire spectrum of our sales and service areas,” said Mark Brown, sales and marketing general manager, Anitech.
“The combination of Anitech’s national geographic reach, technical expertise and after-sales service combined with HP’s award-winning portfolio will provide our customers with a significant advantage as they leverage the HP Designjet Large Format Printer portfolio across the reprographics, photo, architectural, engineering and construction market segments” continued Mark.
As HP’s National Designjet Business Partner for enterprise customers, Anitech will embark on a number of joint initiatives to better meet the needs of large format printing customers. The agreement will also see Anitech demonstrating the capabilities of the HP Designjet T2300 and Z6200 Printers at stand 0438, PacPrint 2013.
Anitech plans to pioneer a new pay-per-use business model for use in Australia, based on HP’s SmartClick program, a pay-per-use option for customers who prefer to be billed at a monthly agreed rate for the actual of consumption of HP consumables. This will help reduce the up-front capital outlay for customers.
“We’re very pleased to be working with Anitech as our national HP Designjet Business Partner as they distribute the full HP Designjet Printer portfolio in Australia,” said Ben Ho, country manager, Large Format Design, Graphics Solutions Business, HP South Pacific. “This will play a key role in further expanding our presence with local businesses.”
