Starleaton Digital Solutions has undergone a major transformation in its branding and operations to better serve clients in the Australasian market.

The company has revealed a new logo, and has refurbished its headquarters in Brookvale, on Sydney’s northern beaches. These are part of the company’s long-term initiative to address the rapidly changing print and imaging market in Australia and New Zealand, with a clear focus on providing premium products and personal service to its client base as a total solutions provider.

The new logo and offices complement Starleaton’s development of a comprehensive online storefront that makes it simpler than ever for clients to log on, order products, track their use of materials, and keep in touch with the latest technology available to digital imaging and printing professionals.
General manager Ben Eaton is enthusiastic about the new look, designed for the company by Sydney’s Shout Media.
“It’s been ten years since we refreshed our logo and brand, and we decided that a fresh look would take us into the next phase of our business, especially with the new generation of people who are now in the industry. We think it has a little more currency in this new market,” he said.
“This is the culmination of a lot of development inside the company to be the premier supplier of a total solution for digital professionals. We’ve spent over 12 months developing a full suite of products that are easy to apply, easy to install, and that deliver a higher profit at the end of each job,” he added. “We’ve expanded our product range to over 2,000 lines, so we can provide innovative products for specialised jobs, while at the same time carrying all the commodity lines.
“We really stand by our name that we’re a solutions based business. Over 90 per cent of our products are premium European brands, enabling our customers to increase profits by taking advantage of the high quality of these products, and the solutions they provide to handle specialised applications and jobs.”
The new Starleaton Digital Solutions logo and corporate branding were designed by Shout Media in Sydney.
Starleaton has also developed a comprehensive online service to assist clients to save time and money. Ben Eaton says clients can place orders and expect faster deliveries.
“The nature of our business is changing rapidly, and certainly since the GFC hit in 2008/09,” said Eaton. “Our customers went from having six weeks’ work on the board to three days’ work, so the industry suddenly became on-demand. That means 70 per cent of our deliveries are required in three hours or less. The wash-up from this on-demand market is that everybody is time poor.
“We invested a lot of resources in a really simple, streamlined system that integrates directly with our accounting package, so our customers can see their entire ordering history, set up regular purchase orders, and all their prices are there to see — it’s a wonderful tool,” he enthused.
“The feedback from customers has been great. When Josh Eaton came on board last year he drove the development of the web store so it was as streamlined as it could be. Our rate of uptake has been exponential.”
