The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is proud to announce the brand new Strategic Sustainable Solutions Zone, one of seven sales-free, educational areas on the show floor at the 2013 SGIA Expo (Orlando, October 23–25).

The first-ever Zone to focus on sustainable business solutions will be a resource to help business owners, operators and more learn all about what they can do to make their businesses more sustainable.
“Sustainability continues to offer market differentiation to our members. With the zone, SGIA can provide proven strategies to integrate sustainable business practices, as well as insights from those that buy print!” says Marci Kinter, SGIA’s vice president for government and business information. “It is a one-stop-shop for imaging companies to learn, network, and hear from both their peers and the buyer as to the growing importance of sustainability as a value add.”
Learn from industry leaders and increase your understanding of best practices through success stories from other businesses that can inspire you.
•    The Zone’s sustainable media sample towers. Examples of media offered in the marketplace with necessary credentials, such as life cycle analysis, to use and offer to your customers will be on hand
•    Pathways you can take to become more sustainable — from energy reduction and recycling strategies, to becoming a zero waste facility
•    The Sustainable Green Printing (SGP) Partnership, and how SGIA can help you through this process
The worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact and increase social responsibility is growing, but there are still companies that don’t know where to start.
Zone sponsors include 3M Commercial Graphics, Fujifilm North America Corp., Hewlett Packard Company, Laird Plastics, Primex Plastics Corporation and Top Value Fabrics.
