To kick start the business, an open house was organised on the evening of the 18th June with a mix of friends, clients and potential clients invited to view the combined talents of Jarryd and the GT-782.

The company, he said, can now print just one shirt or multiples in one colour or multiple colours on a variety of fabrics with amazing quality and photographic like resolution.

We asked Jarryd where he saw his market, he said he will be specialising in shirts for short runs, complicated designs and designer clothing, with a focus also towards; Hens Nights, Bucks Nights, Weddings, Pub Crawls, Funerals, Reunions, Trip and Tours, School Groups and Sporting Teams as well as a an equally large sales opportunity in the business sector.

Jarryd also pointed out that he has already put in place arrangements with screen printers both locally and interstate, providing them with the opportunity to extend their offering and provide a full service starting from just from one garment. Jarryd said that Shirt Ink can cater for overflow and speciality printing work on behalf of other trade shops no matter where they are in the country.

The Brother GT-782 is a versatile machine that includes the capability of white ink. With dual platens each offering a 400 x 450mm print area and both with their own print heads, it’s a high production machine ideal for Jarryd’s requirements and boasts an exciting opportunity for strategic alliances.
